The nearby City of Glendale has built an incredible arena offering many concerts and sports venues throughout the year, and has built the new University of Phoenix Cardinals Football stadium which housed the 2008 Super Bowl. For those that appreciate the arts, there are many theatres and symphony centers in the Phoenix area offering a wide variety of top artists, plays and musicals. The Maricopa County Events Center also called the Sun Dome in neighboring Sun City West has many artist performances and theatre productions throughout the year.
